Ready for a trip to German Mannheim? It might be worth considering, as you can enjoy both Burmester hi-fi and Porsches there!
Since 2009, Burmester has partnered with Porsche for their in-car audio systems, so it’s fitting that these two German brands have organized something special together. On November 9 (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM) and November 10 (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM), you can visit the Sound & Speed event at the Porsche Zentrum Mannheim. The event will feature a showcase of three Burmester hi-fi systems.
First, there’s the BC150 loudspeaker, driven by the 218 power amplifier and preceded by the 077 preamplifier. The Burmester 175 turntable and Musicserver 111 will be used as sources. Naturally, clean power is essential, and Burmester has chosen the 948 Power Conditioner for this setup.
Bespoke
The second system on display will feature the brand-new Burmester BX100 speakers, driven by the combination of the 088 and 216 amplifiers. Finally, you’ll have the chance to hear a “Bespoke” speaker from Burmester, custom-built to client specifications, making each unit unique. In Mannheim, the B38 will be on display with a design by Peer Kriesel, powered by the 232 integrated amplifier.
Porsche
But that’s not all! As promised, there will be cars as well. On display will be the Porsche 911 v992.2, the Porsche Taycan, Porsche Panamera, and finally, the Porsche Macan E. The event’s location is Kohlhof 9 in Limburgerhof, within the Golfpark Kurpfalz.
