The new Vincent SV-500MK stands on two legs: modern functionality with a built-in DAC and classic warmth from a tube preamplifier.
The “dual nature” of the Vincent SV-500MK is reflected in its internal amplifier design. First, there is the preamplifier stage. It’s tube-based, delivering the sought-after tube sound, while the power amplifier stage relies on modern semiconductors. This approach combines the best of both worlds’ classic tube warmth without the limitations of tubes in the output stage.
The integrated DAC allows the SV-500MK to handle both analog and digital input signals, while a built-in Bluetooth module supports modern codecs such as aptX and AAC for wireless streaming.
Power and Versatility
The Class A/B power amplifier delivers 2 x 80 watts at 4 ohms, ensuring plenty of power for most setups. For added flexibility, the Vincent SV-500MK can also function as a standalone preamplifier or DAC, thanks to its variable output and fixed line output.
