An update to be rolled out next month for Google TV will enable Fast Pair of headphones for this system as well.
Fast Pair on Android allows you to pair wireless headphones and in-ears with a smartphone, for example, at lightning speed. Google TV will get an update next month that will also enable this trick. No more fumbling through a Bluetooth menu, just automatic pairing. True, Fast Pair has been available for mobile devices for a while now, so it’s nice that the technology is finally becoming available for televisions as well. The first device to receive the update is – how could it be otherwise – the Google Chromecast with Google TV. The LG 2024 OLED TVs will follow later.
