The new Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 are quite affordable, considering the many features they have on board.
The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 in-ears are truly wireless. Bluetooth supports the LDAC codec, among other ones. What makes the earbuds special is something called “triple adaptive EQ”. This feature continuously monitors volume, the shape of your ear canal (can apparently change now and then) and wearing status. And just as continuously adjusts volume and equalizer according to circumstances. Almost a given in this price range is the presence of ANC, keep the noise out!
In terms of battery life, the earphones run 6.5 hours on a full charge without ANC turned on. If you turn on ANC, the playing time drops to 4.5 hours. Should that not be enough to get you through your day socket-free, there’s the included charging case that can boost your off-grid adventures to 31 hours. Furthermore, the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 feature Bluetooth Multipoint, which allows you to pair two sources at the same time. Last but not least, the caps are IP54 water and dust resistant. Which makes them ideal for (outdoor) sports, for example.
The FreeBuds Pro 3 cost $180, where you can choose from the colors Green, Silver Frost and Ceramic Heart.
