Review Marantz Model 40n – With the ‘N’ of “Neat!”

The test set-up

We tried the Marantz Model 40n on a number of speakers. In particular, the Focal Sopra No1 and the Bowers & Wilkins 805 D4. In both cases, it sounds controlled and clean. As a source, we played with our own d/a converter (Sonnet Pasithea) as well as Heos streaming and via spdif through the Marantz Model 40n. To sum it all up:
