We connect our NAD M50 with AES to the Onyx. From there it goes single-ended to input 1 of the Aethos. The speakers of service are our ATC’s, our Vienna’s and a set of Neat Ministra. On each speaker the Rega plays very well which means that the Aethos is not difficult to combine. We usually don’t play at high volume, we have to save our golden ears a bit, but with the Aethos you tend to turn up the volume because it just sounds so right. You have been warned.

The Rega Aethos replaces a Ps Audio Stellar Gain Cell and a Benchmark AHB2 in the set below:

Music comes from Tidal (hi-fi and MQA), CD and high-res on usb. In addition, we have the Jay’s Audio CD player and dac on the Rega connected and that sounded great.
