The new WiiM Vibelink Amp can function either as an integrated amplifier with volume control or as a power amplifier.

Compact is in – and it’s not hard to see why. Smaller equipment simply saves space, and not everyone wants flashing LEDs, big displays, or unnecessary frills. The new WiiM Vibelink Amp somewhat resembles the recent Mac Mini: sleek and minimalist in design. Under the hood, Post Filter Feedback (PFFB) is used to reduce distortion and maintain a pure sound, even at higher volumes. The maximum output power is 2 x 200 watts.

You can use the WiiM Vibelink Amp either with its built-in volume control or bypass it entirely. If you already have a preamplifier, or a device like the WiiM Ultra, you can bypass the volume control using a switch. In terms of inputs, you get 1 x analog RCA, 1 x digital coaxial, and 1 x digital optical (with a maximum supported PCM quality of 192 kHz / 24 bit). The amplifier can be controlled via an app (iOS and Android).

And finally, the price: the Vibelink Amp is very reasonably priced at €369. It will be available from mid-month.
