The Audio Physic Spark 6 speakers are high end speakers. In light of their performance level, the price of the speaker is more than justified, though there are some considerations.
You must be willing to invest in the entire HiFi chain and enjoy finding the perfect balance of components and cables. Interlinks of the price level of a Van den Hul ‘The CNT’ are really not necessary, but the Sparks are so transparent in their reproduction of sound that the tolerance margins for imbalance in the chain is smaller than with many other speakers in this price class.
The speakers are easy to drive, a good, simple amplifier can, but you get much more in return as the quality of the whole chain improves
Interesting. Appreciate the clarity and the imaging, but just found this sound sterile and aloof, like it just doesn’t want to get riled up about anything happening in the music. I agree that something is lacking. The test for me now after so much test listening is the Mammal Hands cut. I got up and retrieved a water out of the fridge. The JBL 1600s over the little D Nilai moved me more. So…positive takeaway for this newbie: more money doesn’t necessarily buy you what you want. It pays to pay attention. Thx for making this test available.
