The Canton Reference 9 is a hefty monitor. Maybe that is the reason why we had some trouble getting things in focus? In any case, it took a while to find the right spot. We ended up placing them a little closer together than where most monitors and also our Revels perform at their best. We used just a little bit of toe in, past the ears, and placed them sufficiently far from all the walls. We sat about the same distance as the distance between the speakers, to say 2m20. We briefly tested the tuning for the tweeter but found the neutral position in our room to be by far the best. Your Milage May Vary.
