Installation

Contents

Installing the KEF CI4100QL THX is really not difficult. All you need to take into account is the installation depth and the purchase of a possible backbox. In fact, we always recommend that in order to get the best results. In our case it is not necessary because we already took this into account in our test wall in the form of damping.

Fasten the KEF with six screws that tighten the clamps. This is the case with most built-in speakers. The system is in fact fool-proof. The only mistake you can make is a hole or cabling that is too large and too short. But yes: measure, measure… and measure again. Isn’t that right?

Testing system

The test system consists of both a Hegel Röst and an Illusonic IAP8 with a B&K HTA 7,150 end plug. We take the Röst to see how musically the KEFjes can play and the Illusonic with B+K to assess the film performance.
